As per a report from Koi Moi dot com, the digital rights of ‘The Greatest of All Time’ have been sold. Netflix has acquired these rights for a whopping 125 crores INR. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this film surpasses Vijay’s previous release ‘Leo,’ whose digital rights were also secured by Netflix, but at a slightly lower price of 120 crores INR.

Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film GOAT holds special significance as it is slated to be his second-to-last film. Vijay, considering a shift from acting to politics, announced a few days ago his intention to step fully into politics, leaving films behind. He revealed his decision to work on one more film because of the commitments already made, which will be Thalapathy 69.

In GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay is joined by actors like Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. Two posters of GOAT have been released so far, hinting at Vijay’s double role in the film. In one poster, both characters are seen holding guns on a bike, while in the other, they are depicted in scuba diving suits.

GOAT is being touted as a science fiction film that will delve into the concept of time traveling. Initially, it was suggested that the storyline of GOAT was inspired by the Hollywood movie ‘Jumper.’ However, Venkat Prabhu has refuted all such claims, stating them to be incorrect. The shooting for the film commenced in October 2023, with some parts being filmed in Chennai and certain sequences in Bangkok. While the release date for GOAT has not been disclosed yet, it could potentially hit the screens by the end of 2024.
